It was July 4 and everyone likes a good fireworks show on the Fourth of July, right? Wrong! Many dogs are afraid of July 4 fireworks. This is not about family dog safety during fireworks. It is about counter conditioning to overcome fear of going outside after our dog had a traumatic holiday.
