Bite prevention and helping kids succeed as caregivers and friends to their pet is very important to me. I have some programs coming up to teach kids (and parents) how to be their dog’s hero. We’ll talk about the basic do’s and don’ts of playing appropriately with and caring for their dog, as well as how dogs tell us when they are happy, or when to leave them alone, and how to approach other people’s dogs. A good age for children to attend is 6 to 9, and I encourage parents to stay.
With the exception of Petopolis, all programs are free to attend and no pre-registration is required.
